The sun sets

Sugar sweet,

Muffled breezes bring

Vaporous resonances.

Mists drift

In waves of cool,

While the night

Unspools.

Morpheus crawls along

The water docks

And unlocks

The sleeper's dreams--

Unrequited remembrance

Of things yet to come,

Of things unseen.
